Election commision of pakistan issued non-bailable warrants of PTI chairman Imran Khan and Fawad Chaodry for not appearing before the ECP despite summoned in personal capacity in a contempt case.
Last year ECP started contempt proceedings against Imran khan, Fawad Chaodry and Asad Umar for using foul language against chief election commissioner.
PTI leaders challenged the contempt proceedings in High Courts under section 10 of the election act 2017, however supreme court order to continue contempt proceedings but barred ECP from final decision.
