Meta's Threads comes to limelight with a bang as 10mn signup in first 7 hours


Meta's 
Threads has been launched in America and 100 other countries including Pakistan by Mark Zuckerberg owner of Facebook and Instagram.

In first seven hours of its launch 10mn people signed up Threads, a text-based microblogging app like Twitter. 
Many techies are considering Threads  app     " twitter killer" as twitter owner Elon Musk has introduced unpopular changes in twitter thus creating space for Threads, a text-based microblogging platform.

What is Threads?


Meta's Threads is a text-based microblogging app like Twitter.
The threads is available to download for free on the Apple app store and Google play store. Threads offer more text on it as compared to twitter but privacy issues has delayed its launch in EU.

Threads is introduced on the backing of Instagram, owned by meta, offering Threads built-in support of more than 2 billion users thus not starting from scratches as did twitter in 2006.

How to login Threads?

Users can login by using their Instagram account details and follow the same accounts.

Adam Messori chief of Instagram said in a post that platform is made for public conversation and the company was looking to bring some of what we have built for photos and vedios on Instagram to Threads with text."

To login Threads Instagram account is necessary.

If someone want to delete Threads account, first je will have to delete Instagram account much to the surprise of many.

Meta explains:

User may deactivate his Threads profile at any time but Threads profile can only be deleted by deleting your Instagram account".
