Pakistani bowlers bowled out SLC board XI at 196 runs in a two day warm up match expressing excellent bowling skills.
Shaheen Afridi and Hassan Ali both grabbed three wickets each to restraint SLC board team to a modest total of 196 runs.
It was Oshada Fernando from SLC board who rescued the team from complete collapse by scoring 109 runs.
Pakistani innings
Pakistan scored 160/3 at the end of the first day's play.
Shan Masood was the star batsman from Pakistan side who scored 83 runs in a short time by facing 66 balls.
It is to remind that first test match between Pkistan and Sri Lanka will start on 16th July 2023.
Day 2
Pakistan scored 342 in first innings with the sizable contribution of Shan Masood 83, Babar Azam 79 and Saud Shakil 61.
In second innings SLC board XI scored 88/4 and match ended in draw.
Two day practice match between Green shirts and SLC board XI provided ample opportunity of batting practice as Pakistani bowlers and top order batting exhibit their respective skills before the start of first test match on 16th July 2023 of the two test match series.
