What makes the passport Powerful?

Dr. Christian H. Kalin devised the methodology of passports ranking nearly 20 years ago.

Henely & Partners utilises the data of International Air Transport Authority, IATA, to rank 199 passports of the world. It rely on the data that how many destinations can passport holders visit without visa.

Any country scores one point for its passport if no visa needed, also applies when passport holder can obtain visa on arrival or electronic travel authority,ETA, while entering the destination.

Any country or passport achieve 0 score when visa is required for entry.
By this method HPI award numbers to world countries.
