Arch rival India on the knees as Pakistan wins emerging asia cup by 128 runs




Pakistan won emerging Asia Cup 2023  beating arch rival India 🇮🇳 by big margin of 128 runs at R. Premadasa stadium Sri Lanka. 

Indian 'A' won the toss and decided to bowl first.

Pakistani openers Saim Ayub and Sahibzada Farhan gave his team a supplended and solid start of 121 runs which paved the way for a huge total of 352 runs.

Pakistan's first wicket fell in 18th over when opener Saim Ayub got out on 59 after playing 51 balls.
Second wicket fell in 22nd over when Sahibzada Farhan got out on 65 runs after facing 62 balls. 


Pakistan's 5 wickets fell at 187 then it was Tayyab Tahir who played anchor role and took team's score to 352 by playing a heroic knock of 108 runs on just 71 balls. He lost his wicket in 45th over at the score of 313 runs.


In 50 overs final match Pakistani 'A' team piled up huge score of 352 runs against arch rival India. 


Indian batting 


Both Indian openers gave a reasonable start to his team and first wicket fell at 64 runs in 9th over when opener S. Sadharsan lost his wicket at 29.
No Indian batsman could play solidly before Pakistani bowlers and Indian wickets fell at regular intervals.

Only A. Sharma scored half century (61) while chasing a big total of 352 runs.

All Indian team got out at the score of 224 runs in 40th over, ten overs before alloted 50 overs.


Pakistani bowlers didn't lose grip over the match.
S. Muqeem grabbed 3 wickets while A. Iqbal, M. Mumtaz and M.Wasim got 2 wickets each.

Tayyab Tahir was declared man of the match due to his heroic innings of 108 runs against arch rival.
