Interim Government jacks up petroleum prices by rupees 17 to 20 per liter



Petroleum prices increased


Interim government has increased petroleum prices in its first move by rupees 20 to further exacerbate the woes of masses.

Latest petroleum prices in Pakistan 


Interim government has given first shock to the masses after the departure of PDM led government by increasing petrol by 17.50 rupees per liter taking new per liter price to 290.45 while high speed diesel price swelled to 293.40 rupees per liter from 273.40 rupees per liter. 

Earlier PDM led government increased petroleum prices on at the start of the month of August.

Increase in petroleum prices will bring new wave of inflation in Pakistan already hard pressed by sky rockting daily commodities prices. 

Transporters have  increased fares at their own and there is no government machinery to check them.
