Bank of Amrica predicts depreciation of Pakistani currency to 340 per dollar

Bank of America Securities in its recent report titled as "Pakistan viewpoint- running out of 'orthodox' options" predicted about devaluation of PKR against USD to the range of rupees 340/$.

Reasons of devaluation of PKR against USD 

• Higher domestic borrowing of 2.5 trillion rupees may devalue PKR to 340/$.
• Increasing debt servicing cost amounting to 7.3 trillion rupees, 80% of the total expected tax collection revenue. 
• Restructuring of unsustainable debt.
