Pakistan tour of Sri Lanka - Second day's play marred by rain

Rain has come to help Sri Lanka as second day's play was abandoned.
Pakistan could play only 10 overs on day two.

 Pakistani not out batsmen Abdullah Shafique and captain Babar Azam resumed the 2nd day's play at Singhalese Sports Club Colombo from 145/2 in 28.3 overs when Ist day's play was stopped by empires due to bad light.

Both batters started the playing confidently and took team's score from 145 to 178 that play had to stopped due to rain just after 10 overs.

Asad Shafique is on 87 not out after facing 113 balls while skipper Babar Azam is on 28 not out.

Sri Lankan bowler Asitha Fernando claimed both wickets of Imam ul Haq and Shan Masood.

Earlier Sri Lanka's team got all out on lowest total at  SSC Colombo of 168 runs before tea.

Pakistani batters are in great touch and big score is expected to take Sri Lanka under pressure in 2nd innings. But rain could play its role to save Sri Lanka. 
It is important to note that Ist innings average total at Singhalese Sports Club Colombo's pitch is 355 runs.

Pakistan hasn't won the series in Sri Lanka since 2015 and now there is golden chance to wrap up the series already enjoying 1-0 lead in two match series. 

Last test series was drawn between Sri Lanka and Pakistan by winning one test each.
