Saud Shakil and Agha Salman rescued the team after collapse of top order

2nd Day
 Ist innings

 ðŸ‡±ðŸ‡° 312 all out

 ðŸ‡µðŸ‡° 221/5

Pakistani innings is mirroring of Sri Lankan innings as Pakistani top order collapsed after the start of his Ist innings after lunch.

Both openers, captain Babar Azam, wicket keeper batsman Sarfraz Ahmad and Shan Masood all failed to add reasonable score on the score board for his team as did in the past.

At 101/5 in twenty first after the departure of Sarfarz Ahmad, it was Saud Shakil and Agha Salman who neutralise the Sri Lankan sppiners and stroke freely to brought the score to respectable total 221 runs at the end of 2nd day's play marred by rain.

Saud Shakil scored 69 from 88 balls while Agha Salman scored 61 from 84 balls.

When play was stopped due to rain Pakistan was 211/5 in 45 overs still 91 runs short of Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 total.

Earlier Sri Lanka resumed their Ist innings score 242/6 on 2nd day and with the help of D. De Silva's century 112, brought to 312 all out.

From Pakistani side Shaheen Afridi,  Naseem Shah  and Abrar Ahmad took wickets apiece while Agha Salman hunted one Sri Lankan player.

Pakistan will resume thier score from 221/5 on day three. If both Agha and Saud Shakil stayed at crease then Pakistani team may took lead to create problems for Sri Lanka as Pakistani pacers are in full swing to wipe out Sri Lanka in 2nd innings.
